Cy­cling for Gary Kelly Cen­tre

THE BIG hearted cy­clists of the re­gion are al­most set to go again - all for the Gary Kelly Can­cer Sup­port Cen­tre.

The Enda Collins Memo­rial Cy­cle 2017 is a one-day, 140km cy­cle from Car­rick-on-Shan­non to Drogheda - from the Shan­non to the Boyne - in aid of the Gary Kelly Can­cer Sup­port Cen­tre in Drogheda.

The cy­cle takes place on Satur­day, Septem­ber 16th, with trans­fer to Car­rick-on-Shan­non on Fri­day, Septem­ber 15th.

The cy­cle is in mem­ory of a great lo­cal ath­lete and a great man Enda Collins, and to say a big thank you for the sup­port he re­ceived from the Gary Kelly Cen­tre - an in­valu­able lo­cal sup­port ser­vice.

Last year a whop­ping €50,000 was raised for the GK Cen­tre in Drogheda and this year they are set­ting out to raise as much as pos­si­ble.

This year they plan to cy­cle from Car­rick-on-Shan­non to Drogheda on Satur­day, Septem­ber 16th, 2017. This is a to­tal dis­tance of 140km.

Each en­trant is asked to raise up to €500.
