Driver is put off the road for 10 years
WAYNE Kavanagh (35), 9 Moneymore, Drogheda, has been disqualified from driving for 10 years for having no insurance at Moneymore on 8 August, 2016.
He was also charged with having neither tax or a driving licence on the same occasion.
Barrister, Irene Sands said her client has a partner and two children, and previously received a five months sentence, which is under appeal, for similar matters.
These offences occurred before those which are subject of the appeal.
Judge Coughlan, taking all charges into account, warned Kavanagh if he drove without insurance again, he would be a long time in Mountjoy.
