Lo­calschools meet­maths chal­lenge

Over a quar­ter of a mil­lion peo­ple will en­joy fun events and nu­mer­i­cal chal­lenges dur­ing Maths Week Ire­land, the world’s largest fes­ti­val of maths and nu­mer­acy, tak­ing place from Satur­day 14th – Sun­day 22nd Oc­to­ber.

Through­out the week, world-renowned math­e­ma­ti­cians will be on hand to en­ter­tain peo­ple of all ages with the won­der of maths through fun and in­ter­est­ing talks, games, teasers, chal­lenges and magic maths shows. Schools across Louth have so far reg­is­tered 3,527 stu­dents to take part in Maths Week events with many more ex­pected to make it the big­gest Maths Week cel­e­bra­tion to date.

Ardee, Mul­lagh­buoy N.S., , Réalt na Mara School, Scoil Naomh Bríd, Scoil San Nio­clas, Sta­ban­non, Co.Louth, St. Colmcilles, Tul­ly­don­nell, St. Fran­cis NS, St. Oliver’s N.S, Ardee Com­mu­nity School, Bal­ly­makenny Col­lege, Bush Post Pri­mary School, Co­laiste Chu Chu­lainn, St Mary’s Col­lege Dundalk and St. Louis Se­condary School.
