Run of the Country raises over €11,000
THE Run of the Country is a hugely popular Charity Motor Cycle fundraiser and September 30th last marked the seventh year for this event which continues to grow in success.
This year the motor cycle run tallied a whopping €11,571.72 for Malta Services Drogheda which was just fantastic and surpassed all expectations. Funds raised from this event will go directly towards assisting people to work towards and achieve specific personal goals.
To date the Run has raised over €83,500 for local charities and this is the second year for Malta Services to benefit.
Malta Services Drogheda, support over 100 adults to live a life of their choosing by providing education and training, information and advice and practical assistance to support them to achieve their goals. The organisers say sincere thanks again to all the bikers who participated in this years run and particular thanks to the event sponsors including: Height for Hire, Kennedy Motorcycles, Tuites Butchers, BWG Drogheda Value Centre, Marks and Spencers, Glanbia, Tesco and Belview Eggs.
