Perfect tribute to Breda at the castle

Drogheda Independent - - NEWS - BY HUBERT MURPHY

FAMILY and friends of the late Breda Geraghty gathered in the glorious surrounds of Bellingham Castle recently for the second annual ball to honour the local woman.

Breda passed away after a battle with cancer, but her legacy left many inspired by her attitude to her illness and has inspired great stories and strength.

The night proved to be a glowing success - a dance troupe starting it off and followed by a magician, a five-star meal and more music.

Liz Somersby from the Oncology Unit in Drogheda spoke about cancer treatment and research.

Breda’s husband, Anthony, thanked everyone who were part of the night, helping make it such a success in relation to fundraising for the oncology unit.
