Things are still going bump in the night at the top of Mary Street

IT must have been the start of last year when I raised an issue about a noisy manhole at the top of Mary Street/Duleek Street (right).

Just as you swing around at the garage, heading towards town, there is a manhole that has fallen slightly, and when a truck in particular hits it, the echo vibrates around the place.

I’ve heard reports some of the locals have had to move out of front of house bedrooms the noise is no bad. One for a council engineer to inspect.
