Online seminars to support business

Dundalk Chamber of Commerce is collaborat­ing with colleagues from other chambers to support SMEs in the north-east.

A series of 4 online seminars will be delivered by industry experts on Strategy, Finance, Creative Thinking and Digital Marketing.

Thomas McDonagh of Dundalk Chamber commented that he is pleased to invite owners and managers of small businesses to enrol on the SME Recovery & Growth Plan as the course will equip businesses with the necessary management skills, tools and techniques to ensure continuity of business, and survival and recovery in a post- COVID-19 environmen­t.

‘It is important in these challengin­g times to review your business and to pivot and adapt to the new normal. This course will help you to rethink how you are doing business and offer support in forming new business strategy,’ Mr McDonagh said.

The course would normally cost €500 but is free to chamber members.

The speakers include Brian Harney, Associate Professor in Strategy & HRM in DCU Business School; Brendan Binchy, an Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser; Fergal Brophy, Entreprene­urial Specialist UCD Innovation Academy and Louise McDonnell, a Digital Marketeer, Social Media Speaker, Facebook Author, Trainer and Coach.

The course commences on 30 June and will run every Tuesday 10am-12 noon.
