Planning sought for Tinnacross solar farm
Permission is being sought to build a new solar farm at Killabeg, Tinnacross.
Renewable Energy Systems Ltd has applied to Wexford County Council for planning permission to build a ground mounted solar photovoltaic farm at Killabeg.
The farm, if given the go ahead, will generate renewable energy on the 12.7 hectare site and will consist of solar arrrays, energy storage, associated electrical infrastructure, fencing, access improvements and ecologically beneficial landscape works. The permission would, if granted, be in place for 27 years.
Submissions and observations on the application should be made to the planning department of Wexford County Council within five weeks.
