MARK FUR­LONG (32) from Bal­lyran­nell, Glen­brien ran into a sum­mons for not hav­ing a cer­tifi­cate of road­wor­thi­ness when his own van broke down.

The District Court heard how he was in­ter­cepted at Clonard Great on the evening of March 21 in a sec­ond choice ve­hi­cle.

A fine of €150 was im­posed by Judge Gerard Haughton.
