Bur­glar­ies in En­nis­cor­thy

GAR­DAÍ are in­ves­ti­gat­ing two bur­glar­ies which took place in the En­nis­cor­thy District last week. The first took place at Cool­bawn, Ferns, on Tues­day, Novem­ber 7, be­tween the hours of 6.30 and 8.30 p.m. The in­ci­dent saw thieves gain ac­cess to the prop­erty by smash­ing a rear sun room door. Once in­side, they com­pletely ran­sacked the up­stairs of the house. No de­tails were avail­able on ex­actly what was taken.

On Novem­ber 11, a sum of cash was stolen from the kitchen of a house at Bal­lagh Cove, The Bal­lagh. The in­ci­dent took place af­ter 9 p.m. and saw en­try gained by break­ing the glass in a rear door.

Gar­daí are ap­peal­ing for any­one who may have seen any­thing sus­pi­cious in either case to call En­nis­cor­thy Garda Sta­tion on 053 9242580.
