Tuesday, July 3, brought the Wade’s Total Healthcare-sponsored competition for our ladies.

The Wade family have been a valued sponsor for 30 years now and we really appreciate the continued support.

Michael and Ann Wade were in attendance on Tuesday evening to present the fabulous prizes.

Results: 1, Caroline Hewitt (7), 38 points; 2, Laura Funge (23), 37 points (countback); 3, Mairéad Carty (20), 37 points; Class A, Eileen Cullen (18), 35 points; Class B, Irene Poole (24), 36 points; Class C, Brigid O’Brien (35), 37 points; nine-hole competition: 1, Susan Hall (26/13), 21 points; 2, Margaret Borton (37/18), 17 points (countback).

This weekend brings the Captain’s prize qualifiers. We wish Captain Niall the very best for the weekend and hope everything goes according to plan.

Our ladies also have their away day this weekend in Enniscorthy. We hope all the travelling ladies have a great day.

Next Monday will see Irene Poole and the Boyne Trophy team play Charlesland in the next round of the competition. Good luck ladies, play well.
