Polish man found with drugs worth over €13,000 is remanded in custody
A POLISH national who pleaded guilty to the possession of drugs to the value of more than €13,000 was further remanded in custody for sentencing.
Ryszard Klimczak, of Apartment 3, Chapel Lane, Bunclody, appeared before Judge Cormac Quinn at Wexford Circuit Criminal Court.
The defendant pleaded guilty to the possession of cannabis, amphetamine and cocaine for sale or supply on July 28, 2016, at Apartment 3, Chapel Lane, Bunclody,
Defence Counsel Philip Sheahan said the defendant is in custody and he would apply for a governor’s report. He said the defendant is getting on well in custody. He also asked for the preparation of a probation and welfare report. He is 28 years of age with no previous convictions.
Judge Quinn said he would remand the defendant in custody for sentencing on January 11 next.
