A NUM­BER of net­work­ing events will be tak­ing place in Fingal this week as part of the 16th Na­tional En­ter­prise Week.

The theme for the week is ‘ Scal­ing Your Busi­ness’ and Bank of Ire­land will host over 40 net­work­ing events na­tion­wide for SMEs with an in­ter­est in grow­ing their busi­ness.

Bank of Ire­land’s Na­tional En­ter­prise Week aims to pro­mote and drive busi­ness mo­men­tum for SMEs across a range of sec­tors in­clud­ing tourism, hos­pi­tal­ity, agri, food, fi­nance and ex­port mar­kets.

This year’s na­tional ini­tia­tive will give small and medium sized busi­nesses across the coun­try the op­por­tu­nity to network with fel­low en­trepreneurs at events along the theme of ‘Scal­ing Your Busi­ness’.

Bank of Ire­land branches in North Dublin will host two events over the course of Na­tional En­ter­prise Week.

The first is en­ti­tled ‘Scal­ing Your Agri Busi­ness in Dublin North’ and is be­ing or­gan­ised in con­junc­tion with Fingal Dublin Cham­ber.

It will fea­ture an in­ter­ac­tive panel dis­cus­sion and Q & A in re­la­tion to the agri sec­tor, the po­ten­tial im­pact of Brexit and farm­ing in the dig­i­tal age on Fri­day from 7.30am to 9am in City North Ho­tel.

Guest speak­ers will in­clude Mike Har­lick, Head of Tech­ni­cal Ex­per­i­men­ta­tion with Bank of Ire­land who will show­case Vir­tual Re­al­ity tech­nol­ogy and the op­por­tu­ni­ties it presents as well as Rowena Dwyer, the Ir­ish Farm­ers As­so­ci­a­tion Chief Economist and Shirley McCay, Di­rec­tor of Trade and In­vest­ment in the Bri­tish Em­bassy.

Mean­while, St Vin­cent’s GAA Club is hold­ing an on on Wed­nes­day 17th May from 8am to 10am in Clon­tarf Golf Club for club mem­bers and lo­cal busi­nesses.

Guest speak­ers will in­clude Gary Kee­gan, High Per­for­mance coach and Pat Gil­roy, MD Dalkia and for­mer Dublin GAA Man­ager who will dis­cuss achiev­ing high per­for­mance and scal­ing within your busi­ness.

Speak­ing about the 16th Na­tional En­ter­prise Week, Laura Henry, Head of Bank of Ire­land Dublin North, said: ‘ Through Bank of Ire­land’s Na­tional En­ter­prise Week pro­gramme we aim to help small and medium busi­nesses in Ire­land in prac­ti­cal ways and to mark the 16th suc­cess­ful pro­gramme we are proud to host a large num­ber of events across the coun­try.

‘ The theme, ‘Scal­ing Your Busi­ness’, aims to help SMEs show­case their prod­ucts and ser­vices and con­nect them with like-minded men­tors and en­trepreneurs. I would en­cour­age busi­nesses across the coun­try to get in­volved in the many events tak­ing place.
