A NUMBER of networking events will be taking place in Fingal this week as part of the 16th National Enterprise Week.
The theme for the week is ‘ Scaling Your Business’ and Bank of Ireland will host over 40 networking events nationwide for SMEs with an interest in growing their business.
Bank of Ireland’s National Enterprise Week aims to promote and drive business momentum for SMEs across a range of sectors including tourism, hospitality, agri, food, finance and export markets.
This year’s national initiative will give small and medium sized businesses across the country the opportunity to network with fellow entrepreneurs at events along the theme of ‘Scaling Your Business’.
Bank of Ireland branches in North Dublin will host two events over the course of National Enterprise Week.
The first is entitled ‘Scaling Your Agri Business in Dublin North’ and is being organised in conjunction with Fingal Dublin Chamber.
It will feature an interactive panel discussion and Q & A in relation to the agri sector, the potential impact of Brexit and farming in the digital age on Friday from 7.30am to 9am in City North Hotel.
Guest speakers will include Mike Harlick, Head of Technical Experimentation with Bank of Ireland who will showcase Virtual Reality technology and the opportunities it presents as well as Rowena Dwyer, the Irish Farmers Association Chief Economist and Shirley McCay, Director of Trade and Investment in the British Embassy.
Meanwhile, St Vincent’s GAA Club is holding an on on Wednesday 17th May from 8am to 10am in Clontarf Golf Club for club members and local businesses.
Guest speakers will include Gary Keegan, High Performance coach and Pat Gilroy, MD Dalkia and former Dublin GAA Manager who will discuss achieving high performance and scaling within your business.
