Locals aid in search for missing Malahide man
VOLUNTEERS searched the Coast Road area of Malahide over the weekend as concerns grew for the welfare of a local man who has been missing since September 6.
Public searches of the Coast Road were organised for William Gaule on Saturday and Sunday morning, after he was reported missing from his home in Malahide.
Volunteers searched the Coast Road area, where the local man was last seen on September 6.
Gardaí are also seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of William Gaule who they confirmed is missing from his home in Malahide, since the September 6, 2017.
William is described as being in his mid-60s and is described as 5’9” with grey receding hair and a moustache.
When William was last seen he was wearing blue/black knitted jumper and dark coloured trousers.
The Gaule family took to social media to appeal for help in the search for William at the weekend and were answered with a big turnout to help in a number of organised searches on Saturday and Sunday morning.
The family have publicly thanked all those who have taken part in the searches and said there would be further searches organised this week.
They have asked for as many people as possible to share the description and picture of William that is circulating on social media as the search intensifies for the missing Malahide man.
