Getting down to their local history this week were pupils from Finian’s College when they visited the museum at the Carnegie Library. Some were St.fascinated with the Gas Mask from WW2.
Will be starting up again in BASE Centre, Brackenstown Road, after their Summer Break, on Thursday 7th September. They do various crafts, baking competitions, dancing, pitch & put and other activities. They also go on outings. New members are always welcome, so why not go along and have a chat and a cup of tea.

Bethany Bereavement Support Group *(Swords Parish) – Meetings are held in St. Colmcille’s Parish Office, Parochial House, Seatown Road, Swords. Please Note new time of 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm on the second and last Monday of each month. If you are suffering the pain of loss through bereavement you are welcome to attend the meetings. Bethany members are trained to listen and help people understand and come to terms with their loss. Meetings are informal; group support or one-to-one basis. The coffee morning in Glebe North clubhouse in aid of St Francis Hospice Raheny raised €2,000. The organisers would like to thank everyone who baked for them, who helped out on the day and support the event. Many thanks to all.
