THE juvenile section at Fingallians GAA Club continues to thrive.

The first-ever multi-sports camp held over the mid-term saw some 60 youngsters take part.

The club was delighted with the success of the week-long event and the skills learned will now transfer to the children’s football and hurling training.

Meanwhile, as the juvenile fixtures begin to wind down for the winter break, there’s still plenty happening at Fingllians.

The club has just appointed a new Games Promotion Officer Colm Riddell, who will take up his post immediately.

Colmm who hails from Ballinasloe in Co Galway, is a decorated dual player with a degree in Sport Management.

He also has experience in management and coaching.

Meanwhile, members should note at the club shop will close on December 9 and last order for Christmas stock will be taken on Saturday, November 25. So mark the date in the diary and make sure to get your orders in.
