New photographic exhibition open

A PHOTGRAPHY exhibition in aid of the Make-a-wish Foundation is now open at St Sylvester’s Parish Centre in Malahide.

Tanya Crosbie unveiled her wonderful display ‘The Magic of Iceland’ last Friday and they will continue to be shown until Thursday.

Iceland and the Northern Lights have always been a dream trip for Tanya. She spent part of February, March and June 2017 in Iceland capturing the dramatic landscapes, breathtaking waterfalls and the elusive but stunning northern lights. Tanya traveled through Iceland with her family, with a group of photographers and finally embarked on a brave solo journey through the south of Iceland in the world’s smallest camper-van, all following her dream of capturing the beauty of Iceland.

The goal of the exhibition is to raise enough funds for Makea-wish Ireland to grant at least one wish of a child who is living with a life-threatening medical condition. These wishes offer a respite to the child and their family from their regular routine of hospitals, doctors and treatments.
