Uninsured motorist was over the limit
CHRISTOPHER Pryke (55) from 3 Beachside Gardens in Courtown was dealt two motoring offence convictions at Gorey District Court.
The prosecution arose after Garda Michael Burke stopped the accused at Seamount on June 22.
Pryke admitted at the scene that he had no insurance and a blood sample later confirmed that he was over the legal limit for alcohol.
Solicitor Macarten O’Gorman told Judge Gerard Haughton his client was on social welfare and that he had an acquired brain injury.
Fine to a total of €600 were imposed, with Pryke banned from driving for two years.
