COOLBOY crooners The Willoughby Brothers have announced an entire weekend of music and dancing for their fans.

The Willoughby Brothers and Friends concert and dancing weekend will be held at the Ashdown Park Hotel, Gorey, from Friday, November 17, to Sunday, November 19th November.

Hundreds of fans from across Ireland and the UK are getting set to travel to Gorey and have booked hotel rooms and surrounding B&B’s for the weekend event, which includes combination of concerts and dances featuring the cream of Irish entertainers.

The Willoughbys will kick off proceedings with a performance on Friday from 9 p.m., followed by dancing to Stuart Moyles and The Indians Showband.

They’re back on stage at 9 p.m. on Saturday and will be joined by RTÉ’s Ronan Collins, Fegal Flaherty and Gary Gamble in concert followed by dancing to Louise Morrissey and Barry Kirwan and his band. Sunday sees an afternoon of dancing to Theresa and the Stars.

Nightly tickets are €20, while Sunday tickets are €10 each. They are available from the hotel reception on 053 9480500 or www.thewilloughbybrothers.com

This summer, the brothers released their fourth studio album, ‘He’s My Brother’, which took them on a slightly different musical path from their previous albums. It features their RTÉ Radio 1 playlisted single, ‘Don’t It Feel Good’, which is an upbeat, feel-good song. Their current single is ‘Love Is Like A River’, which has a country - gospel influence.

The album also features a stunning solo performance of ‘Always There’ by Des - a song composed by the same writers as ‘You Raise Me Up’.

The final track on the album is a remake of their very first single, ‘The Lights of The City’, which proved very popular on Tony Kehoe’s South East Radio Show reaching to number one spot on the most requested list for several weeks.

The Willoughby Brothers from Coolboy, Co Wicklow, will host a music weekend in Gorey.
