OPERATION TRANSFORDM­ATION

Well done to Team C Peter and Cailin on the poker night held in Cooney’s in Hollyfort. Thanks to everyone who played or helped in anyway. Your support is very much appreciate­d. Winner on the night was Gary Keating with Paudge Doyle in second place and Bernie Cullen taking third place. A total of eight players made the final with all eight receiving monetary prizes.

Visits to sick and Housebound: to facilitate Confirmati­ons Fr Richard will make his March visits to the sick and housebound with Holy Communion on the morning of March 13. If there is anyone you would like to add to the list please call 087 6923280.

Anointing of sick at Mass of fourth Sunday of Lent, March 11 at 10.30 a.m.: In this Mass we will pray especially for those who carry the cross of suffering through illness. There are some people who never get the opportunit­y to visit us for Sunday Mass but who would be able to do so on a once off annual basis with the support of their families or neighbours. I encourage people to bring elderly or suffering family members or friends to the church for this Mass.
