Drugs conviction
STEPHEN DUNNE (33) of 12 Hillcrest Drive, Gorey passed up the opportunity to avoid a drugs conviction.
A longstanding case dating back to Summerhill, Enniscorthy in May of 2014 was finally disposed of on July 5.
Judge Kevin Staunton was reminded that details of the offence were given to the court on a previous occasion.
Dunne was told then that a contribution of €150 to the Cornmarket Project would head off a conviction.
However, solicitor Garrett Fitzpatrick confirmed that his client was not present and that the money had not been paid.
A fine of €150 was handed down with the conviction.
