WEXFORD CHAMBER LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE TO ENCOURAGE UPSKILLING

-

TO CORRESPOND with the official launch of Skillnet Ireland, Wexford Chamber Skillnet has unveiled a new interactive website providing details of their upcoming courses, video testimonials and information on subsidised training.

In May, Skillnets became Skillnet Ireland, the national agency for workforce development which promotes upskilling within enterprise.

Wexford Chamber Skillnet is one of 67 groups across the country aiming to increase participation in further training and learning.

Speaking at the launch of Skillnet Ireland, Minister for Education and Skills, Richard Bruton said such courses were vital for ensuring Ireland was ‘future proofed’ to meet new challenges.

The Chamber recently launched their new website in the hope that Wexford enterprises would be encouraged to engage and work with Wexford Chamber Skillnet to ensure the programmes delivered are highly relevant to industry needs in the county.

As a result of this close interaction they have developed low cost, customised, and locally-based training courses.

The range of upcoming courses are details on the new website: skillnet.wexfordchamber.ie.
