Clayton Whites Hotel to host three day AA convention

OVER twenty Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) groups from across Co Wexford are to gather at Whites Hotel for the group’s annual convention. Known in AA circles as ‘Area 14’, groups from right across the county are expected to attend the event which takes place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of this week.

The three day conference is open to members, family and friends and even those who may be dealing with an alcoholic in the home and just need somewhere to turn.

The weekend promises something for everyone with marathon meetings, open public meetings, a quiz, workshops, film and a dance. AA literature will also be on sale at the event. Kicking off at 4 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s events kick off from 9.30 a.m.

Registration is priced at €10 and dance tickets are €5.
