OLAF TYARANSEN

Born in Dublin in 1971, Tyaransen spent his for­ma­tive years in Galway. He be­gan writ­ing for Hot Press in 1991 and has since gone on to es­tab­lish a na­tional pro­file as one of Ire­land’s most ad­ven­tur­ous and con­tro­ver­sial scribes. His po­etry has ap­peared in nu­mer­ous an­tholo­gies and jour­nals, and has been broad­cast on RTE radio and the BBC World Ser­vice. Fur­ther pub­li­ca­tions in­clude his au­to­bi­o­graph­i­cal odyssey The Story Of O, and Sex Lines: Ad­ven­tures In The Erotic Un­der­ground. In this is­sue Olaf speaks to Pixie Geldof and Larry Love of Alabama 3 in­famy. He also gives us the ver­dict on the new re­lease from Rob­bie Williams and ex­am­ines the lat­est find­ings on co­caine adul­ter­ation on the is­land.
