En­nio Says Ir­ish Farewell

There’s one fi­nal chance to see the ge­nius that is En­nio Mor­ri­cone on Septem­ber 23 when the Ital­ian mae­stro pays a fi­nal visit to Dublin’s 3Arena. Tick­ets are priced from €87 and won’t be hang­ing around for long.

The 89-year-old had hung his ba­ton up in 2014, but be­cause of a resur­gence of in­ter­est in his work de­cided to get the gang – all 200 of them – back to­gether again.

This, though, is def­i­nitely it in terms of in­ter­na­tional tour­ing, so if you want to hear se­lec­tions from his time­less Once Upon A Time In The West, Once Upon A Time In Amer­ica, A Fist­ful Of Dol­lars, The Un­touch­ables, The Mis­sion,

Cin­ema Par­adiso, and The Good, The Bad And The Ugly scores, this is your fi­nal chance.

To add that list can be added The Hate­ful Eight, the Quentin Tarantino western that af­ter six pre­vi­ous nom­i­na­tions fi­nally earned En­nio an Os­car last year.
