HIIT EXPLAINED

Irish Daily Mail - YOU - - FOOD MEDIC -

HIGH-INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING is a method that involves alternate periods of pushing your body to its limit (hence ‘high intensity’) with periods of rest or lower-intensity exercise, such as walking. HIIT can be done purely using your own bodyweight or you can mix it with kettlebells, sandbags or dumbbells. Ideally, combine HIIT with low-intensity steady-state cardio and strength training to increase muscle mass and reduce body fat.
