BICARBONATE OF SODA is in­cred­i­bly ef­fec­tive for a num­ber of clean­ing jobs around the house and is mildly abra­sive too, mak­ing it a good al­ter­na­tive to chem­i­cal cream clean­ers.

CLEAR VINE­GAR is ef­fi­cient at clean­ing glass when di­luted slightly.

LEMON Squeezed-out lemon halves are also good for clean­ing glass and are well worth sav­ing for clean­ing the shower: rub on glass doors and chrome fit­tings to re­move cloudy stains and bring back shine.

LEMON AND BICARBONATE OF SODA Com­bined, lemon and bi­carb are ef­fec­tive for clean­ing chrome and any­thing that needs buff­ing up.
