MIRACLE CREAM: ESPA MUSCLE RESCUE BALM

My new hero product, this does the biz for my achy neck and shoulders from sitting at the computer, or lower-back ‘ouches’ from mucking out stables. I’m also giving it to my marathon-runner nephew to massage into his leg muscles.

Just smelling the peppermint and eucalyptus balanced by warming clove bud and West Indian bay oils is a pleasure and then, after a few minutes, you notice the aches have faded. This morning, I applied it to a sore area under my right shoulder blade, which calmed down almost immediately.

It also clears a stuffed nose – stroke it on your chest and dab a little on a hankie (or your wrist) and inhale deeply. At €40, it’s not cheap, but it lasts.
