Oh deer! Little fawn gets licked into shape

Irish Daily Mail - - News - By Naomi McElroy

IT was a case of, ‘Doe! My ear!’ for this little fawn when her mother decided to give her an impromptu clean-up in Dublin’s Phoenix Park yesterday.

The mother and baby fallow deer were snapped soaking up the sunshine in the capital as temperatures soared to the high 20s.

Mum was obviously very fawn’d of her little one, and decided to make the most of the summer sun by giving her a quick spring clean.

We’ve all endured the dreaded mamf ace wipe, where cleanlinessobsessed mother slick at issue then use it to scrub their protesting children’s faces, but this unfortunate youngster had it even worse.

It didn’t seem to bother her too much, though, as she was spotted playing happily in the sunshine shortly afterwards.

Fallow deer have lived in the park since the 17th century.
