Texting Friends have Courteney in a flap

FRIENDS ended way back in 2004 but the female stars are still remarkably close. According to Us Weekly, the three actresses – Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow, pictured above, from left – stay in touch via a group text. However, while Lisa and Jennifer embrace the conversation, Courteney, 53, doesn’t love the format. ‘Lisa, Jennifer and I all have a text chain, but to me it’s too much pressure. I’m not into the group text chain,’ said the Cougar Town star. ‘And then you have something funny to say and you say it but then you send the text and they don’t get it.’ Coureney and Lisa spoke to the magazine at the Burn To Remember event in West Hollywood, which honoured firefighters. Notably absent was Jennifer, 49, who just last week announced a surprise split from her husband of two years Justin Theroux. The pair said the decision to part ‘was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year’, and that they would continue to be friends. It has since been reported that actor Justin broke up with Jennifer because she refused to live in his New York pad, instead of her lavish Bel Air home.
