Carlos Brathwaite was profession­al for Leinster in 2009-10 but with a Super Six place assured for the winners of today’s contest between the two teams with a 100 per cent record in Group A, the friendship­s and reunions will be restricted to before and after today’s titanic tussle. It was a nervous start for the West Indies in their warm-up games in Zimbabwe, totalling only 110 and 115, but they have hit their straps with totals of 357-4 and 201-4 in their first two games at a qualifying tournament.
