IT LOOKS as though the programme makers have come up with another winning formula with this new culinary show, hosted by First Dates’ Fred Sirieix (pictured). It’s The Apprentice meets MasterChef, as each week, restaurateurs try to convince a team of backers to invest in their businesses. In the first episode, sommelier Emily and chef Ruth are looking to secure a substantial six-figure investment in their fine-dining place, Epoch, while Ewen needs much less to open fast-fish restaurant ShrimpWreck. But can they entice investors to take a bite?
