About time! Meghan’s mum meets the in-laws
MEGHAN Markle’s mother has been introduced to Charles and Camilla ahead of tomorrow’s royal wedding.
Doria Ragland finally sat down to tea with the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall – with future son-in-law Prince Harry and the US actress also around the table.
The group had their first family get-together late on Wednesday afternoon at Clarence House, the heir to the throne’s official London home.
A source described the gathering as ‘jolly’ and said everyone got on ‘extremely well’.
Charles and Camilla’s meeting with US-based yoga instructor Miss Ragland, 61, came during a busy day of engagements for the couple.
The mother of the bride had only jetted in to the UK from her home in Los Angeles earlier on Wednesday.
Ms Ragland also met the William and Kate and their two youngest children, George and Charlotte at Windsor Castle yesterday afternoon.
Buckingham Palace has also confirmed that Ms Ragland will meet her most esteemed new relative by marriage – Queen Elizabeth – for tea today, along with Harry and Meghan.
