Travolta: Netflix is killing cinema
NETFLIX and other streaming services are turning cinema into a ‘vintage genre’, John Travolta warned yesterday.
The actor, pictured, said big-screen films were no longer ‘as sought-after’ thanks to big-budget TV dramas such as The Crown.
Travolta, 64, said at the Cannes Film Festival: ‘It’s not so good for us who have established ourselves in human drama on the big screen. They’re not as sought-after, those types of movies.’
