Katie swaps Paris for sunny Dublin
IF you are going to swap Paris for Dublin, you might as well do it while we are having a heatwave – as Katie Holmes has just done.
The former Mrs Tom Cruise was looking sunkissed as she soaked up the capital’s rays in the Avoca foodmarket in Monkstown yesterday afternoon.
With a takeaway hot drink in one hand and an Avoca paper bag in the other, she breezed around the wellheeled Dublin suburb chatting to a male friend.
The Dawson’s Creek favourite cut a casual figure, stepping out in an oversized shirt dress paired with slide-on flats.
The 39-year-old actress has just jetted in from Paris Fashion Week, which she attended earlier this week with daughter Suri, 12.
One thing Katie didn’t look was heartbroken, despite rumours of a split from Jamie Foxx beginning to swirl. Her long-time beau was recently spotted in Miami chatting to several mystery women by a hotel pool.
The couple are reported to have been secretly dating since 2013 and have been spotted out at dinner multiple times – and were even photographed holding hands on a beach last September.
However, a recent report from Radar Online suggested the pair had split. In response, a rep for Holmes told People: ‘The Radar story is 100% untrue.’ It marked the first time Ms Holmes had addressed the subject of the relationship after first being linked to Foxx back in 2013.
And a source has further dampened rumours of a split, telling Page Six in the US that Ms Holmes and Foxx were FaceTiming on the plane as the actress and Suri headed for Paris. The source said: ‘She said she loves him and asked if he wanted “cookies from Paris”. He was in Miami.’ Meanwhile, Foxx appeared unbothered by gossip as the 50year-old Oscar-winner was photographed in a pair of swim shorts and chatting to a few mystery women as he partied in Miami on Monday.
