Taylor ‘unable to identify shooter’

BOXING trainer Pete Taylor – father of Olympic hero Katie – has finalised his statement to gardaí in recent days over a triple shooting at his gym last month that left one man dead.

It is understood Mr Taylor, whom gardaí believe was the intended target, was unable to provide information that could help officers identify the shooter or nominate who would want to carry out the attack. Father-of-three Bobby Massett, 50, was killed in the shooting at Bray Boxing Club in Co. Wicklow on June 5.
