and Phil Mickelson are in negotiatio­ns to play a winner-takes-all match for $10million, according to a report by Golf.com. The possibilit­y of an exhibition between the former Ryder Cup teammates has been mooted since the Players Championsh­ip at Sawgrass in May. The original plan was to play the match in Las Vegas on July 3, but the details could not be finalised in time. It’s not known if a sponsor or the players will put up the money.
