POGBA MADE TO PAY THE PENALTY OVER SPEEDING OFFENCE

PAUL POGBA has been hit with a £350 fine and handed three points for speeding. The Manchester United midfielder appeared before magistrates in Preston yesterday accused of failing to provide details to police. That charge was dismissed and instead Pogba, 25, was ordered to pay up for a speeding offence after a Mercedes was snapped travelling at 40mph in a 30mph zone on September 15 last year. Pogba had previously had his licence revoked and is thought to have been on a provisional licence. The Frenchman was also told to pay £115 costs and a £35 victim surcharge.
