Chanelle to bring girl power to Den
DRAGONS’ Den returns to screens tomorrow on RTE One – with a distinctly female flavour. Now in its eighth series, the show will see new Dragon Chanelle Mccoy, wife of champion jockey Tony, join Gavin Duffy, Barry O’sullivan, Alison Cowzer and Eleanor Mcevoy. Chanelle’s appearance means the programme has the first trio of women in its international history. In a further female twist, 22 of the 38 business pitches come from women. Dragons’ Den will be broadcast for eight weeks from Sunday, March 26 until Sunday, May 8.
