ELECTRIC shocker

This svelte supercar concept carries a slightly surprising badge on its nose – it’s an MG. The Chineseowned firm has produced the E-motion as its vision for the future which, as you can guess from the name, is electric. MG says that the sportback styling recalls classic MG sports cars from the 1960s, which presumably means the MGB GT. China is a centre for electric car development as last week’s Shanghai motor show (at which this MG was revealed) demonstrated. Electric is a good way forward for MG rather than trying to recreate its flat cap and tweed past.
