Top Brand at Tallaght

BRANDON MIELE is the hottest property in Ireland, according to Stephen Bradley. “Right now he’s probably one of the most in-form players in the league,” said the Shamrock Rovers boss ahead of today’s EA Sports Cup final. “I’m sure Dundalk have one or two with the run they are on as well, but having someone like Brandon in the form he’s in…. “He has a strange way of hitting the ball, a technique around the box. He dips it at the last minute and I don’t blame keepers. He has that in his game right now and looks very dangerous anywhere around the box.” Bradley insists too much has been made of Rovers having ‘home’ advantage today – and claims his team are underdogs. “Cork are champions-elect and deservedly so because they’ve done it with such a large margin. But in terms of football, Dundalk are the hardest to play against. “We’ll be underdogs because they’re ahead of us in the league but head-tohead, we’ve played three and won two.”
