LEAN TIMES ON THE WAY TO UNITED
BOLTON ARE TRYING TO SIGN THEIR FORMER DEFENDER JOEY O’BRIEN AFTER THEIR TRANSFER EMBARGO WAS LIFTED
ANDERLECHT have given the green light for Manchester United target Leander Dendoncker to leave the club. The Belgian club’s sporting director Herman Van Holden has claimed they will “work” together to make a big-money move happen in the future after the midfielder, 22, (right) had a summer transfer blocked. Van Holden said: “He showed his disappointment during training at not being transferred. His mate, Youri Tielemans, went to Monaco and he also wanted to play in the biggest leagues. “We’re now prepared to pay him based on his status of key player and to work on his future transfer like we did for Youri.”
