A MAN’S VIEW

Irish Daily Mirror - - COMMENT - BY PAT FLANAGAN

THE jury’s out as to whether or not men do housework but in my house it’s your’s truly who puts out the washing and the bins. I also do all the cooking, make the beds as well as doing the dusting and watering the plants. I can’t understand why more men don’t do more housework as I find it quite therapeutic ... compared to working on the Irish Mirror newsdesk. When it comes to doing the washing I go for Fairy non-bio along with Lenor fabric conditioner, and my preference would be Spring Awakening. I woudn’t win any prizes for ironing but I do it and have the burn wounds to prove it. Personally, I believe the level of housework done by men is dependent on the way they were brought up. Then again, when you’re living alone if you don’t do the housework, it just doesn’t get done.

I do all the chores in my house ...I have to
