Irish Daily Mirror - - NEWS - BY EDEL HUGHES

AN POST is encouraging customers to plan ahead to ensure their presents and cards will be delivered in time for Christmas.

The last posting date for guaranteed regular delivery to far-flung destinations such as Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong is December 7.

It is reminding customers to wrap and seal presents and cards well, check the address and postage costs and include a return address.

If buying presents online, customers are advised to factor in the time for delivery and posting onwards.

An Post is also offering a new service, Address, which allows shoppers to buy from sites which don’t deliver to Ireland.
