Nun’s pain in ‘miracle’ cure

A NUN’S sudden recovery from chronic nerve pain has been declared the 70th miracle of Lourdes.

Sister Bernadette Moriau, 79, who was registered disabled, no longer needs a wheelchair and has even hiked three miles.

Bernadette went to the shrine from her convent in Beauvais, Northern France.

She said: “I felt wellbeing throughout my body – a relaxation, a warmth.”

Nicolas Brouwet, Bishop of Lourdes, announced the miracle at mass on Sunday.
