Tablets could be life or death

-

The opening of the official probe yesterday found they stood no chance when their helicopter crashed into a mountain in Wales and the process will undoubtedly bring lots of pain for relatives.

The report by accident investigators said experienced pilot Kevin Burke crashed after he failed to turn when entering low cloud which must be unbearable for relatives to hear.

The Milton Keynes-based businessman perished along with his brothers Donald and Barry. Kevin’s wife Ruth and Donald’s spouse Sharon also died in the tragedy.

The three siblings were sons of the late Donal Burke who moved from Kilcummin, Co Mayo to Britain some years ago and elderly mum Noeleen, from Dublin.

They had been travelling from Bedfordshire to Dublin to attend a family Confirmation. It is horrific for one family to have to deal with such loss on a day where they should have been celebrating a happy occasion together.

It is important all the details surrounding the crash emerge over the coming weeks and similar tragedies are avoided.

But hopefully the comfort, love and support Noeleen Burke receives from her extended family here will help her to deal with this terrible tragedy and its aftermath. WARNINGS about popular diet supplements should be a real wake-up call.
