Frog hops on a plane to UK from Africa

-

Terrence A TINY frog hitched a ride thousands of miles to Britain after hopping into a traveller’s suitcase.

The creature, described as the “size of a jam tart”, was found by a Scottish tourist who had just got back from South Africa.

Staff at the Scottish SPCA in Balerno, Edinburgh, took the frog in and have named him Terrence.

Officer Sarah Auldsmith said: “It was only when they went to unpack that they noticed him.

“Terrence seems in good health and we’ll be looking to rehome him with an expert after he has been properly checked over.”
