Boyne brew wins battle of the beers

Richard Hamilton A BREWHOUSE in Co Louth has been named the Best Beer In Ireland.

Boyne Brewhouse, located in Drogheda’s Boyne Valley, received eight awards in total at the Alltech Craft Beer Cup on Thursday night.

Creative brewer Richard Hamilton said: “We’re delighted to have won these awards.

“We take great pride in ensuring we use only the best ingredients and our own Boyne Valley spring water go into making our craft beers.

“A lot of time has been taken to perfect our recipes and winning these acclaimed awards is testament to the quality of these ingredients, brewing styles and inspirations.”
