TWO of Arsenal’s big guns convinced Sokratis Papastathopoulos to join the north Londoners.
The Greece defender completed his move from Borussia Dortmund yesterday, and is the third signing since Unai Emery replaced Arsene Wenger as boss in May.
The 30-year-old revealed how former Dortmund teammates Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-emerick Aubameyang played a big part in his decision.
He said: “They called me a lot of times telling me to come here. I’ve come to one team but I also have two players who I was together with for a lot of years. I know them both well and I’m very happy.”
