SWEDEN can’t escape Zlatan Ibrahimovic – even though he’s in California playing for LA Galaxy.

The former Manchester United star’s international career may be over, but he’s still Sweden’s biggest name in football.

Ibra (below) has his face plastered all over Swedish TV during the World Cup, advertising everything from Volvo cars to Samsung TVS.

But his contract with betting firm Bethard has landed him in hot water with Sweden’s anti-gambling brigade.

He’s getting stick for not being the ideal role model with Sweden experiencing an upsurge in young people gambling.

The criticism won’t worry Ibra, whose off-field endorsements net him £5million a year.
